Rasta The Painter has arrived early to occupy a front-row seat directly facing the main stage. He has set up his canvas against the balustrade and has all his favourite tools of the trade in hand.
ANC leaders are said to be shunning the front row of seats on the podium and want to sit further back. Nobody wants to be the target of those paint brushes, so says a Facebook post by Milton Sibuyi.

The tongue-in-cheek post refers to whoever will have the dubious honour of his face being painted as “a victim”.
HotNews hopes that, because it’s not a funeral, Rasta will shock many with an accurate depiction of his “victim”.
