Prince Mlimandlela Nzululwazi Ndamase has joined the Eastern Cape Department of Public Works as Media Liaison Officer to the Honorable MEC of Public Works, Hon Babalo Madikizela.
Prince Ndamase brings with him vast experience in Media Liaison, Government Communication, Crisis-Communication, Marketing and Public Relations Strategy Development and Execution including Stakeholder Management.
Most recently (from 2015), he has served as the Ministerial Spokesperson to the Former Minister of Environmental Affairs, Ms Nomvula Mokonyane during her tenure as Minister in the departments of Water and Sanitation, Communications and lastly, Environmental Affairs.
His career has spanned both the private and public sectors and has previously served as Head of Communications and Public Education for the Film and Publication Board and as a Project-Manager for the FPB, overseeing the 2010 FIFA World Cup Campaign against Child Pornography. He has also served as a Client-Care Manager at leading short-term insurance firm, Outsurance.
He is not new to the Eastern Cape, having served as Chairperson of the then Eastern Cape Youth Commission (now National Youth Development Agency) in 2006-2010 and having been elected as a Provincial Executive Committee member of the African National Congress Youth League in 2008 – 2011.
He studied Political Sciences at the University of Pretoria (UP) and has successfully completed a Management Development Programme with the same University and is currently in the process of completing a Senior Management Programme through UP.
