A police officer who is accused of killing his pregnant girlfriend is expected to appear at the Ixopo Magistrates Court today.

It is alleged that the woman was found dead a few kilometers from her home at Ehlanzeni near Umkomaas last week. She was last seen leaving her home with the suspect.

IPID spokesperson, Robbie Raburabu, says, “It is alleged that the suspect killed his 34-year-old girlfriend on the 13th of August 2023. The girlfriend is said to have been pregnant with triplets. She was found dead approximately 1.4 km away from her home.”
